Another person on board. But have you ever calculated what it costs to lose a member?<\/p>\n<p>The average member pays around \u20ac45 per month. If that member stays for two years, a single cancellation can cost more than \u20ac1,000 in revenue. Add to that the \u20ac100 to \u20ac150 it takes to recruit a new member.<br \/>\nLeaving is expensive.<\/p>\n<h2>Suzanne\u2019s story<\/h2>\n<p>Take Suzanne. For six months, she came every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Then she gradually started dropping off. Until eventually, she stopped coming altogether. The cancellation came via email: \u201cI\u2019m too busy.\u201d<br \/>\nSound familiar? Probably.
