Closed Loop Feedback
What is Closed Loop Feedback?
We all know that feedback is important. In the sports industry, it’s crucial to understand what’s happening with your members. One way to do this is with Closed Loop Feedback (CLF). With CLF, we ensure that we follow up on the feedback we receive by contacting the person who provided it. The term “Closed Loop” says it all: we close the loop. This loop consists of asking for feedback, receiving it, and providing a follow-up. In Closed Loop Feedback, written feedback is invaluable.
Luckily, you don’t need to provide an extensive follow-up to everyone. A simple thank-you for the feedback and letting them know you’re working on improvements is often enough. Our advice is simple: respond to ALL feedback! After all, everyone takes the time to help you, so the least you can do is respond.
Getting started with CLF at Feedback4Sports
With Feedback4Sports, you can start using Closed Loop Feedback right away. We’ve developed a module that allows you to follow up on feedback in an organized way. With this module, you can assign feedback to colleagues, add comments, use tags or markers, and indicate the current stage of the feedback (to do, in progress, or done). Everything is designed to close the loop.
When following up on feedback, it’s important to listen to the reasons behind the feedback. Let the person know they’ve been heard, and take the time to truly understand what they have to say. Together, you can then work on a solution. If a solution isn’t possible, clearly explain why. Communication and managing expectations are essential in this process.
At Feedback4Sports, we strive for continuous improvement and sporty collaboration. Join our platform today and discover the power of Closed Loop Feedback in the sports world!
